Not Another Monster

My friend got married and we were so happy for her. A committee was set up to that effect, to plan for the marriage ceremony. We attended planning committee meetings over and over again. Everything was in place, the D-day came and it was so joyous , we dance , eat , drank and network, not knowing that she was getting married to a monster in human from.
After the marriage, the union was getting on smoothly. But after like 8 months, the story changed, I never heard from my friend again. Not on till after a year, when I finally chatted her up to check up on her. And I got the shocking news. She told me she was trying to file for a divorce, I asked for who, she said for herself , I was shock. Marriage of how many months and you are already filling for a divorce. She told me it was a long story.
When she later narrated the story, i felt for her, because the abuse was too much. Long story cut short, they are separated, few months ago, she told me she's getting married again to someone else, I ask her, hope not another monster ? She smiled.
I told her , she should not also be a monster, because I have seen a similar case where the lady was a human monster.
But in all , may God bless our marriages. And for those who are yet to marry, may God help us to choose right. Amen.
