My Grandma was still burning coal

Back in early 90's when I use the visit my grandma in the village, the major fuel used in cooking was coal. It was not that strange because we were all use to it. We even use it in our family house to cook. Fast-forward to 2000 , I remember my mum buying a new stove and when then started using kerosene in the stove for cooking. So my mum also decided to get a stove for my granny in the village.
When we arrived the village that Christmas, we handed over the stove to granny and she was very happy. But could you believe that when we visited granny, the following year, to our greatest supprise the old woman was still burning coal.
Granny what's wrong with the stove , why not use it for cooking, the old woman smiled and in response she said " that stuff is stressful, let me use the coal that I am use to". At that point the plans of getting her a gas cylinder vanished from our mind 🤣🤣
