Back in higher institution, workshop practice was one course that some of us did not really enjoy, because you had to carry a lot of workshop tools from your house to school and the bag would be very heavy. Your helmet, coverall, hammer, saw, tester and every other item were all packed in that same bag.
But it was an important knowledge to gain, because with that knowledge now, I can fix some minor electrical faults at home and repair a few things. So no knowledge is a waste, that's why it is good to acquire different knowledge from various sources, because one day you will certainly need it.
I remember the day I packed into a new apartment and needed a socket in one part of the room, but there was no electrician around. Fortunately, I had a socket and wire at home. So I quickly reached out to my tester and started work. Behold, I was able to fix the wall socket where I needed it. Because of the little knowledge I acquired back then, it was an important knowledge.
