Deal or no deal.
So my friend got a contract that amounted to about a million naira. Since it was about book branding, packaging and delivery, he contacted me and sought for advice , I told him what to do and he said I should assist him run the project. As a friend I didn't just want to sit him down and discuss how much I will charge him because I thought he will know what to do.
I started the work , did it to a certain level, he was impressed, I delivered the job. And was expecting a token from him and for about 2 weeks after delivery, he never said anything. I ignored and learnt my lesson. He never even bothered to say anything about that aspect .
Fast forward to September last year, another contract came in and It was a similar contract. And again he informed me, I told him no problem , that when he is ready he should meet me. So the day he met me, I told him how much I will charge him for my services. And he was telling me if I will have the mind to charge hm as his friend. I asked him if he is aware that his friend use to eat, and that his friend will be investing time to do the stuff. At a point he was talking too much, I asked him deal or no deal ? He didn't say a word, and I left him.
