Good day friends! I feel happy having the opportunity to share my writing on today's prompt with everyone.
Theme: no incentive
John's Mom: “Good day brother, safe journey. You must be tired already, let me make something for you to eat.”
John's Uncle: “My sweet sister, you've always been a caring woman since I knew you. I'm okay, what about Dad?
John's Mom: “He's fine, he's in the room. Let me inform him that you've arrived.”
Upon John's Dad's arrival to the sitting room, exchange of greetings continued until they felt everything was settled. Why did John's Uncle come for the visit?
John's Uncle, Mr. Dan was a successful businessman in the city and had been helping John's family most times when they called him for urgent situations. But as time went on, John grew to the age of learning a trade and Mr Dan was willing to guide his nephew through the business he was managing.
After discussions between John's parents and his uncle, they agreed John would be following him to the city the next day. John too agreed on the deal and was eager to visit the city, “a beautiful heaven according to him” compared to the village he was raised in. Luckily for them, they had a safe journey back to the city.
After three years of learning about the business, John felt he was ready to be settled and to begin his own business. But his Uncle made him understand the fact that he still has a long way to go; making business friends and exploring the business market as he only mastered marketing at that time.
Before John was settled, his Uncle brought in more other boys who were also willing to learn the business. But these new boys were different, at the beginning of their first year, they were committed and delivered their duty without complaints, but as time went, the new boys began to view Mr. Dan is inconsiderate, a man that gives no incentive to his workers to work harder.

John was never like this, he needed no incentive to work harder but knew his hard work today would surely pay out someday.
The new boys began to show it out in their attitude to their Boss, Mr. Dan. They also tried to influence John to tell his Boss that “no incentive, no overtime.” But John went ahead to explain to them the need to obey their master and hope that someday they will become masters too.
Amicably, the boys listened to John and the business continued to roll. It turned from “no incentive, no overtime” to “no incentive, more overtime.”
