Hello Hive. π I'm back again with another @drabble.club microfiction, that is #zapfic100, inspired by the prompt "protect the goblin" taken from @daily.prompt's post.
If you will like to write microfiction in 100 words, feel free to give this challenge a try.
Sarafina rolled her outstretched hands in a continuous circle, garnering a whirlwind around her and the frightened goblin.
The wind formed a vortex of dusty wind around themβa distraction. The growls of the angry wolves grew louder, sending smaller animals in the forest into hiding.
Sarafina was on her way home when she discovered the goblin cowering under a twisted tree. The scratch marks on the tree read "protect the goblin".
Nothing was ever a coincidence. The message must be for her and she was determined to see the goblin to his home safely.
"Thank you," the goblin whispered.
Thanks for reading!
