That would be one of my worst fears! Falling injured and unable to do anything to save myself. Last night I fell on ice in my driveway with no one home, for example. And I remember hearing that this is how some people meet their death in the area where I live! If they cannot move, and no one can hear them cry for help, the freezing will claim them. Fortunately I was able to get up after a moment's rest!

Oh no! I'm glad you are okay and weren't hurt. Icy surfaces are dangerous and often lead to falls and injuries. The thought of living alone and being trapped are what inspired this story. It can be terrifying. Thanks so much for your visit and kind words about my writing. ✨
