Why Sundays Feel Lighter on the Road

Why most people enjoy traveling during the week days, personally, that is not my thing at all. Even though I have heard a series of preachings and sermons that I should stop travelling on Sundays but for me, Sundays feel like a special day to be on the road because everything looks so calm and soft.

Unlike every other day over here, where the road is always busy and clumsy on weekdays. Sunday movement is always with ease and calm because the road is less busy, with fewer cars and buses, even though the bus might take a long time before it gets filled up. But the journey is always with ease.
I enjoy travelling so much on Sunday because I feel less pressure, even though there might be a series of roadblocks by police, but it is all fun. Even though I do not usually attend Sunday services. I can easily see different churches during their service and all the fine clothes people wear to church right directly from the passenger-side open windows either when they are going or coming back.

Sunday travel gives me a few hours to rest and reset myself before the next day. I cannot imagine traveling during the week days because I can picture myself feeling weak throughout the whole week because I am not used to that.

I do not know if I am the only one at this table. Because, for me, there are a lot of hopes when I travel on Sunday, unlike the week days when I might be occupied with a lot of things. And adding travel to it might just destroy the rest of my plans.

And deciding to travel on Sundays always reminds me that in life, I do not need to rush things when I have everything planned out. Because that less busy road can be so relaxing and calming at the same time.
