Every small change in my hands was always spent and i could not clearly tell what it was used for.

I decided to go and buy the traditional piggy bank. I kept it safely under the bed far away from preying eyes.

Everyday I slipped small unused cash into the slot of the piggy bank.
Oh, I was thrilled with my discipline and daily progress.

Until i had an urgent need that required some money. Though it was not up to the time to i had wanted to break the piggy bank.

It was my quick resort to salvage the situation.
I made up my mind to see how much I had been able to saved. It dawn on me that I could easily put it in the slot than bring something out from the it.
I shook the piggy bank, turned it up and down, yet not all the cash came out.

I reached out for a hammer and broke it open.
My piggy bank was made of wood.

In that moment, my little hidden bank became a public spectace and no more a secret safe. Its wood for the fire and the money sorted the needs.

It is so easy to put it in the slot but I am pretty sure of not trying that again.
