Reject it when they say to you that you are too small to make it.
Reject it when they tell you that the journey does not make sense
Reject it when they tell you that others did not make it
Reject it when the journey looks dark and gloomy
I rejected it when the ill-advised me,
I rejected it when they came with their negative vibes
I rejected it when it was dark and lonely
I rejected it when it seemed that their words were becoming true.
Today, looking back to those days
I have a cause to say; I am happy I rejected it
Today, I am who I am because I rejected it
Today I can make bold to say that I rejected their negativities
Today, I have a happy cause to say that I am victorious
Just because I did not give heed to their ill advice
I rejected it early and believed in my intuition that I would make it
And oh, look at where I am today
Today, I can beat my chest and say that it is good to trust God
Look at me, I am coasting home with victory,
I am happy that I rejected the nay-sayers and stood unshaken.
I am super happy that I rejected the offer and waited longer.
They said it was becoming bad, but I rejected it
They said I would regret the wait, but I rejected it
Today, the sound of victory is clear
The Joyful bells are ringing for me
