WEIRD FACTORY :The Bread Factory At Aba __25th October daily prompt

Today's prompt is weird factory and it made me remember a bread factory I visited in Aba.

My friend Chima called me last year and said "come, let me show you where they bake the sweetest bread in Aba". I followed him. We trekked inside a small street, then we saw a small building with smoke coming out. That was the factory.

From outside, it didn't look like factory. No sign board, just a small zinc house. But when we entered, it was weird. The factory was inside one room, and the oven was made with mud blocks like village kitchen. The man mixing flour was using his bare hands and at the same time listening to radio at full volume. The radio was shouting news.

The bread was arranged on the floor, not on table. Some bread was on top of newspaper, some on top of old sack. One small boy was packing bread inside nylon and dancing. I asked Chima "is this really a factory?" He said yes.

The weirdest part was that the man baking said his bread must be baked by 3am. He said "if I bake in the afternoon, the bread will not rise". So he wakes up by 2am every day to start. His neighbours call him "night baker".

We bought two loaves. I was scared to eat at first because the place looked somehow. But when I tasted it on our way home, that bread was very soft and sweet. Better than the big factory bread from supermarket.

My friend told me that people come from far places to buy from that weird small factory every morning before 6am. If you come by 7am, everything is finished.

That day I learned that factory no need to be big and fine to make good thing. That small weird factory in Aba is making money pass some big ones.
