Not every costume is for party.

Some people wear expensive costume every day. Expensive shoe, expensive hair, expensive perfume. But inside pocket is empty. Inside heart is tired.

I have friend who always dressed fine. Gucci belt, clean sneakers, iPhone 13 pro max. Everyone thought he had money. Later I visited his house. One mattress, one pot, no chair. He said, if you look poor, people treat you poor. If you look rich, people open door.

That day I understood costume.

We all wear daily costume. Office wear to look serious. Strong face to look okay. Smile in photo to look happy. It is not lie. It is survival.

But expensive costume can be heavy. You buy cloth to impress people who will not pay your rent. You wear borrowed life to belong.

These days I wear simple costume. Clean, but mine. I want people to meet me, not my costume.
