A powerful folklore was told about a medicine man who lived with the valley view people ketchup. It was said that the old medicine man does not die. This legendary folklore has been told for decades with the inhabitants believing he wholeheartedly.

That fateful morning, the village gong sounded desperately with elderly men and women running into the village square to get through gist of what had happened.

It was then that an old man revealed to everyone seated and standing, that an iroko tree had fallen. Silently, he mentioned the name of the medicine man whom many had said he does not die. It became a case of an empire of nothing.
