The 102nd edition of Kaleidoscopes is here. In four years. I'm lucky to be able to afford it. In a Web 2.0 social network, I would probably have given up long ago.
But the fascination with colors and geometric patterns still remains. As usual, I always choose 3 of the photos that I have taken recently. And in these four years, I have learned something: that my best and most beautiful photos (in my opinion, of course) are not the most suitable to generate kaleidoscopes.
Their content must be different. Above all, it has to be full of some details that can then be mirrored and deformed in different ways.
As usual, I use add-ons to graphics software to do this, mainly two, Photoshop Mehdi kaleidoscope filter and Paint.Net DPL distortion effect.
And still, when I think of kaleidoscopes, I think of photos, which for me are a freeze of reality at a certain moment in a certain place that you can look at later and excite the synapses of your brain to activate the memory centers to start visualizing the past in your own photos or to feel some of the basic emotions...
Well, not to be too long, the kaleidoscope generated from the photo is also a reflection of this frozen reality, maybe from a different perspective.
Three more photos from which I generated kaleidoscopes.

Yes, it would be interesting if they could be printed in glass or epoxy into the images. Thanks for the idea, maybe they'll make some sense, I'll have to do a bit of research.
That would be amazing! Unlimited possibilities!
Beautiful arts photography 🙂
Thank you, but that is generated kaleidoscopes. Yes, I agree it's a kind of art. 👏😎
