Genius Archer's Streaming | Manhua Recommendation

It is my lunchtime and since the majority of tasks at hand are already completed after changing my status to lunch at work I read this new manhua that was released three days ago in Manga Demon

Usually when a new series is uploaded, I tend not to read it immediately as the chapters that were published are quite small. There are a few instances wherein bulk chapters are issued and translators are catching up with the raw as of writing there are 20 chapters that are already translated hence I gave this a go and tried reading it and I can say that I want more of it.

The first few pages of Chapter 1 will show the MC Yoo Sanghyun in an archery field, aiming his bow and arrow at the target. It is a recollection of his past glory, before the car accident that he experienced.

Work has been terrible as his manager constantly humiliates him for not performing well. His only joy in his mundane life was watching streamers do their antics on their live streams. He was thinking of doing the livestreams too, but is afraid that the cost of a machine is too high compared to what he is earning. The day after, he was called by his manager and informed that the company was restructuring, and they needed to let him go, he then asked if he would resign if separation pay would be given to him and he said yes.

He got his separation pay, and with the help of his friend at work, he bought a second-hand VR machine and started his live stream under the username Almond. His skill set as an archer is top-notch even though he hasn't practiced for more than ten years, and the NPCs from the trash game Kingdom Age give him favorable dialogues that old-time players never experienced. Everyone who's watching his livestream feels that the game he is playing is a different one, as the NPCs are showing new content.

In the age of live streams, readers can relate to the main character, as folks who are into live streams hope to get monetized. This manhua also gives you an insight into what type of streamers are available for us. If you know Pewdiepie, Cinnamontoastken, and other gaming YouTubers you will know that they do not rely on the ads from Youtube any more there is more such as marketing, networking, and other content created by them to make sure that they can maximize their profits.

The series is promising, given that it currently has 20 chapters available. Almond is breaking the norms set by society for the weak archer class in the game. He also shows that even though he is an overpowered character already, the mindset of training to get better is being prioritized as well. The innocence of the main character in terms of things that he doesn't know gives a refreshing vibe too. He was not an arrogant MC, nor someone who broke rules. He takes fun in learning things too in the long run.

I just hope that this will not be a long hiatus if in case that the scans are up-to-date with the raw, as people tend to drop series if such a thing happens. I remember Arch mage Streamer being forgotten by some, as the creator releases episodes every quarter.
