I love the question posed by @chefqueen and it’s a very crucial topic to discuss about.
The Author Shared With us In a marriage, who has the final say of carrying or terminating a pregnancy?
I believe when it comes to marriage, there’s no separate entity; what I mean is that both of them are now one and united. So, every agreement must be solely based on both of them and not that one would make the decision while the other wouldn’t because it is something that destroys home.
When it comes to pregnancy, it is important they both sit down to iron the issue out and come to a smooth conclusion and agreement that both of them are responsible for the pregnancy and not a one man’s business.
For the termination, I won’t want to give an answer to that because we are talking about marriage here, why think of terminating a pregnancy? That’s not ideal. This is why it is important to discuss about it whether there would be any pregnancy in the first place and not that when it comes, one would be thinking of terminating or aborting which is the same as killing a soul.
I get your point really well but when you said you can't advise termination, there are a lot of reasons that might cause termination in marriage, it might be they still have an infant at hand or income is not favourable at that moment for them but then I understand your point that it's never should be one person decision but the two . Thanks for giving your thoughts
