My bike broke a few days ago, and in the current circumstances, that's very bad news. Unfortunately, the cost of the parts for the repair is quite high, so I'll be on foot until further notice. However, let's find a silver lining: I'll have some great walks to share here.
I'll start with this Wednesday's. Yes, I've only just now mustered up the motivation to organize my thoughts and write.
I had to go to the bank to pick up my tax card. The task would be simple if it weren't Cuba. First, you have to go early in the morning because they only give out appointments for the different services at 8:00 am. So, with just a coffee in my stomach, I set off at 7:03 am to walk.

Luckily, at this hour, the temperature is quite cool and the atmosphere is a bit relaxed. Walking through the city is the best way to discover that outside the bubbles some have managed to create for themselves, the rest of us are all on the edge.

Anyway, 4 km and 50 minutes later, I was at the end of a very long line of people.
I've always found the name of the store across from the bank curious, so I took a picture of it.

Finally, a bank representative came out to announce that:
They didn't have any cash for people who wanted to withdraw money.
They weren't issuing debit cards because the employee in charge of that task was on vacation and no one had been assigned to replace her temporarily yet.
And that they were only going to give out 20 appointments for other transactions.
As Resoplez would say: What a country!
Well, on the way back, I took the opportunity to treat myself to a piece of cake after a long time. And I sat for a while in a Wi-Fi park halfway along the route to update some apps on my phone.
At 10:10 am, I was already home after an 8 km walk (round trip). The positive? I reached 10,000 steps for the day.
