Wednesday Walk - I take a few walks at Home and appreciate nature's beauty on my way back to work.

It's been two weeks that I have been going home to our house every weekend, which was a minimum of three hours of travel from my workplace.I initially planned only to go home at least twice a month. Thus, it became weekly as my housemate was going home every week too! Somehow I was bothered staying alone in our dormitory and couldn't help, but overthink. So, rather than making myself worried, I choose to endure long travel for peace of my mind.

Since I am alone in our house, my husband's nephews often visit me and spend time playing, running around, and jumping on the couch while imitating whatever animal sounds. Oh yes, it was so noisy and chaotic, yet FUN, as, indeed, kids brought, brings joy!

Here they are, having a camp on the porch 😂.

Or it could be we will have a few walks going to the Sari-sari store to buy some candies.

Then, when the weekend was almost over, and time for me to go back to the city, I always felt sad and got the urge to be absent from work. Yet, thinking that I am not rich and need to work for daily living, got no choice!

The weather was fine, a bit cloudy, yet you could see the blue sky and the striking sun from time to time as I walked to the coastal road. Before, my brother-in-law would drive me using the motorcycle, but the local government implemented some rules due to recent accidents in their place. The reason why I don't have a choice but to walk.

Yes, there is still a banana in front of my house! The other one was already harvested, and this one maybe a few more weeks.

It only takes less than 10 minutes to walk going out, and I am used to walking, so not really a big deal. Only my bag was heavy.

From my husband's place, I need to ride in a jeepney going to the bus terminal. It was also in the city, so the transportation was easy, but there was a bit of traffic during rush hours.

ON regular days, there was no queue of long passengers, so I took time walking. Then, I happened to pass by in a food kiosk and saw these;

It looks delicious, and I couldn't restrain myself from buying it even though I found it pricey. It says Special Ensaimadas from Baguio, which may explain why it cost $1.

After I was settled on the bus and we started the journey, I was planning to sleep, but I got hooked by this view!

Yes, there was a vegetable plantation just near the road, and this reminds me of my HOMELAND! From what I see, what was planted were string beans plus those coconut trees. We have a lot at home, too, and one of the sources of our parent's income back then.

I thought there was a cattle farm nearby.

And these two kids, I assume they are friends or siblings, remind me of those old gold days of my childhood. My older brother and I were riding the bike and sitting in the same position in the picture. Then it happened he couldn't control it as it was slippery. Since then, I didn't dare to try again.
Though seeing this kid, it seemed they were used already and even enjoying a great bonding.

I wonder why I only saw these River now! I have been traveling, going back and forth many times! I think I am always sleeping throughout the journey 😅.

And what caught my attention was that I would always ensure that I was awake every time we passed by this beautiful mountain.

Looking at those clouds, I wondered if hiking was allowed here. When I reach the summit, clouds will be within my reach!

And this Home developer got a perfect spot in building the project. Got a nice view of nature.

Imagine sitting on the terrace at sunrise facing these while holding a cup of coffee. Indeed you would have peace of mind even just in the meantime.

And that ended the journey as I fell asleep after 😂.
