I was noticing the other day I really need to hit the car wash with my truck. It is just nasty looking. All the salt they use in the winter for the snow and ice starts to accumulate and it just makes everything so dirty.

Oh yes, when we lived in Aberdeen up north they get snow and ice etc, so heaps of gritting going on and sure make your car filthy! So I know what you mean..
Yeah, it's nasty! There is a reason when people are selling used cars in the US they point out if it was mainly used down south versus up north. The salt can lead to premature rust big time.
