Indeed, and bringing it back to the human level is important in all this.
Religions have been used as a method of controlling populations for thousands of years. Yes, I agree with that, tolerance ends when harm is the obvious end. Spirituality is connecting with our own divine life energy, and it's reflection in the world, and following it up the sprial of consciousness. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

In the West, they also went from being one of the most intollerant and belligerant collection of nations that took over the world to a hyper-tolerant society that accepts any atrocity for the sake of being nice.
So one generation shapes another.
Neither was balanced.
