Good question, but I imagine that the whole idea of an avatar is that they allow us to fully embody them, and to experience the world through them, so it would have to be some kind of neurological interface. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

Looks like you are talking about "brain-computer interface", which is already in experimental mode (especially for people who are quadraplegic or otherwise unable to move most parts of their body). 🧘‍♂️🤓
