That might hold true for Bastyon, though it's also rather bate-bones in that it doesn't have an internal decentralized market, communities or groups, or leaderboards.
Yes, that does sound like a useful strategy, but honestly, if someone is not able to grok why it would be a very good idea to create and grow an account on Hive, I'm certainly not going to waste my time or energy. I discovered and onboarded myself to Hive, because I perceived just how exceptional it was from the very beginning. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

Looks like people would use #Bastyon as a simple alternative to the mainstream social media platform with a bird that used to be its logo, without getting too focused on tokens and separate communities. 🤔🤯🤓
Someone who initially refuses to join a platform has a chance to become willing to join several months later (and probably ask someone else to help them join). 🧘♂️🤓😏
