That's a good question, and I've been mulling it over for a while. Yes, I was one of those that has been mentioning that idea, a reason should be mandatory, though I'm not sure yet how to make that actually work in an actually-useful manner.

These are just a few of the questions that would arise when such mandatory reason for every flag is planned. 🤯

  • What reasons are considered "acceptable"?
  • If a reason is deemed "unacceptable", what would people on Hive do?
  • Should there be a change in the flagging mechanism itself?
