My Weekend! | Alive and Thriving on April 04, 2025

Hi there. How are you? I hope you are doing great. Welcome to my short diary for Friday, April 04, 2025!

My weekend started with performing the Fajr prayer in the mosque. Then I recited Surah Al-Kahf and later talked with my mother over Facebook Messenger. Then I worked on the laptop for a while.

On Friday morning, I skipped the morning sleep. I engaged myself with some house chores and played with my kid. I walked on the treadmill for 10 minutes in between. Later, after 11:30 am, my son and I went to the mosque to attend the Jummah prayer.

After lunch, I had an afternoon nap. After the Asr prayer, my son and I went to the park. He enjoyed the swings and slides for some time. We returned before the sunset.

In the evening, I was at home. I worked on the laptop and played with my kid. I went to bed only after 11 a.m.

Okay. That's all for today. Alhamdulillah, I am alive, healthy, and thriving. How about you?

Spending quality time with your son and balancing it with prayers and some self-care like walking on the treadmill is inspiring.
Visiting the park together must have been a joyful experience for both of you.

If I were a child, I would be all over the mountain in the background of your photo. I grew up here in Fl where it is all flat land, we had a small hill where the dredge pumped up sand, if we were not swimming, we were on that little hill.
