My Weekend Diary (Friday): The Last Day Before the Month of Ramadan (Fasting) | Alive and Thriving on Feb 28, 2025

Hi there. How are you? I hope you are doing great. Welcome to my short diary for Friday, February 28, 2025.

My Weekend started performing the Fajr prayer in the mosque. Then I recited Surah Al Kahf. After talking with my mother over Facebook Messenger, I went to clean my car. My son was sleeping. Hence, I went alone to clean the car.

After breakfast, I worked on the laptop for a while. I made some changes in the HIVE accounts, mostly to automate the upvotes during the month of Ramadan.

Then, we went out in our car. Our target was to purchase a blender and a small deep freezer. We visited 4 stores. Finally, we purchased the deep freezer. It cost me 45 OMR. We (my wife) didn't find the perfect blender for her.

At around 11:50 am, we (my son and I) left home and went to the mosque to attend the Jummah prayer. It was finished in one hour.

After lunch, we had a short nap. After Asr's prayer, I took my son to the park. He enjoyed the time very much. From there, we went to a frozen fish store. We bought a Rohu fish.

In the evening, it was announced that March 01, Saturday, would be the first day of Ramadan in Oman, the most blessed month for Muslims. During Ramadan, there is an extra prayer called Tarabih after the Isha prayer (the last prayer of the day). So, my son and I attended the Tarabih prayer. It took around 50 minutes to finish both the Isha and the Tarabih prayers.

After having a light dinner, we went to bed at around 10 pm.
