Proper sound sleep at night is quite important for good health. Poor sleep or a lack of sleep may lead to various adverse physical and psychological effects. Lack of sleep or insomnia is a worldwide phenomenon. Researches show that around 10% of the world's people live with insomnia! And, around 20% people go through occasional insomnia symptoms.
A new search analyzed data from 88,000 adults in the UK. The research was intended to find out the association between sleep patterns and various disease processes. It was followed up for 7 years. The researchers discovered that 172 diseases were associated with poor sleep patterns. The poor sleep pattern included irregular bedtime and an off-circadian rhythm. To note that poor sleep pattern wasn't the only risk factor in those research participants who developed the disease. Hence, it is just a mere association, not the established cause yet! More studies are needed in this regard!

On Wednesday night, before sleep, I walked on the treadmill for a little over 15 minutes. This treadmill walk, along with a casual walk between my home, office, and the mosque, helped me reach over 10k steps. I also earned 0.57 $SWEAT! I had a short afternoon nap in the afternoon.
At work, I consulted 15 patients in my chamber on Wednesday. Hence, it was an easy day. I examined some people who came for the fitness test. As it wasn't a busy day, I could study a bit in the office. I also worked online from the office desktop!
