Chamber Talk! | Short Diary on Tuesday | Alive and Thriving on Aug 12, 2025

Hi there. How are you? I hope you are doing great. Welcome to my Post. It's the alive and thriving report on Tuesday, Aug 12, 2025.

One of the GP doctors suddenly resigned (it appeared to us like that) one day ago. It was kinda shock for the rest of us! Unlike before, we have minimal communication between the GPs. Hence, the rest of us were unaware of such an event! As a result, on Tuesday, we were two GP doctors on duty (one doctor took a weekly off)! I had to consult more patients on the day! I got 28 patients in my chamber! In the visa medical center, I examined some people who came for fitness tests.

It was not a big number of patients. A few years back, I had the record of consulting 80-90 patients daily. Some days, it would even cross the 100-patient mark. The maximum number of patients I consulted in a single day was 112! It was such a day!!!

In the last couple of months, due to summer vacation and having 4 GPs on duty, our workload has reduced significantly! The average daily patients were around 20 (below 20 most of the time). So, we are kinda started enjoying the easy work. However, looks like busy time is knocking at our door :)

At home, I walked on the treadmill for 20 minutes after lunch. I then had a short afternoon nap. In the evening, my son had an online English class. Now, he can do it himself. Hence, I no longer need to accompany him. He is learning things pretty fast, Alhamdulillah!

The new member of our household is pretty good at only one thing-Crying! No one around- Crying! Carrying him in the lap- silent. Putting him down-Crying! Hence, after office, when I look after him, my wife takes her dinner and does some other work if necessary! Raising a kid is not an easy task! Alhamdulillah, we are managing!

On Tuesday, I managed to take 11,599 steps. That 20-minute treadmill work helped me reach the mark. These steps earned me 0.63 $SWEAT COIN!
