1 Hard Lesson from a Foreign Worker’s Stolen Phone Story

Today I am going to share a story of a man who visited my shop to buy mobile phone charger, and I shared him hard lesson.

This is an event involving a customer. A customer came to my shop after working a night shift. He came to buy a charger for his mobile phone. He was living away from home as an expat/foreign worker, just getting by. I tested the charger for him at my shop and gave it to him at a full discount for 850 rupees.

What Hard Lesson I share?

When he went to his quarter at his residence, put his mobile on charge, and fell asleep, someone stole his mobile phone. He inquired with all the people coming and going around there, but everyone said they hadn't stolen the phone. The thief took his mobile phone, but left behind the charger he had bought from me.

Then he came to me in the evening and said, "Brother, please take your charger back; my mobile has been stolen." I asked him how it was stolen, and he told me the whole story.

I comforted him and then said, "Well, humans make mistakes, but don't do this again—putting your phone on charge and falling asleep. Right now, only your mobile was stolen; later on, something else of yours could be stolen too.

Whoever stole your mobile might see a little temporary gain right now, but the consequences will be terrible—both in this world and the Hereafter. True peace of mind lies in earning a lawful living. Allah Almighty has opened many doors for humans to earn a livelihood. When a person earns through halal means and shares it, they feel immense heart-contentment."

یہ کسٹمر کا واقعہ ہے ـ
کسٹمر میرے پاس نائٹ کی ڈیوٹی کر کے شاپ پہ آیا ـ
کسٹمر مجھ سے موبائل کے لیے چارجر لینے آیاـ
وہ یہاں پردیس میں گزارا کر رہا تھا -
اس کو میں نے اپنی شاپ پہ چارجر چیک کر کے دیاـ
میں نے اس کو فل ڈسکاؤنٹ کر کے 850 روپے کا چارجر دیا ـ
اس نے جب اپنی رہائش گاہ پہ کوارٹر پہ جا کے موبائل چارج لگایا اس کے بعد وہ خود سو گیا تو اس کا موبائل کسی نے چوری کر لیا-
اس نے وہاں پہ جو بھی سارے لوگ آتے جاتے ہیں ان سب سے تحقیق کی وہ سب کہتے ہیں کہ ہم نے موبائل چوری نہیں کیا ہے-
چور اس کا موبائل تو لے گیا لیکن اس کا چارجر جو اس نے خریدا تھا مجھ سے وہ چھوڑ گیا-
پھر وہ میرے پاس آیا شام کے ٹائم اس نے کہا بھائی یہ آپ اپنا چارجر رکھ لیں میرا موبائل چوری ہو گیا ہے-
میں نے اس سے پوچھا کہ بھائی آپ کا موبائل کیسے چوری ہوا تو اس نے مجھے پوری تحقیق بتائی-
پھر میں نے اس کو تسلی دی پھر میں نے اس کو کہا کہ چلو انسان سے غلطی ہو جاتی ہے آپ دوبارہ ایسے نہ کرنا کہ موبائل کو چارجنگ پہ لگا کے آپ سو جائیں ابھی تو آپ کا خالی موبائل ہی چوری ہوا ہے بعد میں آپ کا کچھ اور بھی چوری ہو سکتا ہے-
لیکن جس نے آپ کا موبائل چوری کیا ہے اس کو وقتی تو تھوڑا سا فائدہ نظر آ رہا ہوگا-
لیکن اس کے نتائج بہت ہی بھیانک ہوں گے دنیا میں بھی اور آخرت میں بھی-
لیکن دل کا جو سکون ہے وہ حلال روزی کمانے میں ہے ـ
اللہ پاک نے رزق کمانے کے لیے کئی دروازے کھولے ہیں انسان کے لیے-
اور انسان حلال طریقے سے کمائے اور اسے بانٹ کے کھائے تو اس کو دلی سکون بہت زیادہ محسوس ہوتا ہے -
