I know very well some parents would say they have their children's best interests at heart. Kind of like the ones who would take this process to get rid of defects like blindness or genetic diseases.

Some might go for modifying into strong genes that don't fall ill. To be honest, there are quite so many good benefits of being able to modify a baby's genes.
But we all know how tempting it might be for some people; they are already doing plastic surgeries, so why not just save the child the stress, right?
Some are willing to go to the farthest lengths so their child can be born perfect.

And I believe we all know the so many downsides of perfection. The social effects, the envy, the jealousy, the pride that comes before a downfall. And it isn't just the subjects of perfection that are affected, the people around them are also affected in many ways, the feeling of inferiority which leads down many bad roads.

Now, I have mentioned quite some advantages and disadvantages, but something even worse and bad on a level of its own is the fact that not every person you see dressed moderately is mentally stable. Trust me; there are crazy learned ones, crazy classy ones, crazy rich ones, crazy kind ones, and so many different kinds of crazies that I can't mention all. And we can't stop all these crazies from having children, I don't even want to imagine what someone who wished he could have been born a dog would do to have a child born like one.

This is a serious and real-life issue and a threat to human nature. I have already heard rumors of genetic modification, like choosing the gender of a child and other modifications, I don't know if there are already laws that put a limit on modifications. But what I am sure of is this: if it isn't moderated, in the future, every limit will be tested, and the human race may never be recognizable again.

Genetic modification for the sake of perfection just doesn't feel right or ethical, so why not just let nature take its course?
