Let's be real.

How long can I last without my phone?
Answer: Until the battery dies.
I don't "let it rest".
The only time my phone rests is when it dies.
And even then.....
Me: "just one more time babe please "π
I'm not addicted. I'm married to this thing
I give it 2 minutes.
I press the power botton.
It flashes 1% the dies again.
I press it again.
It dies again.
The moment my screen goes black I become a different person.
I'm checking my pocket every 30 seconds. "Did it turn on by itself?"
I'm asking my sister "can I use your phone to check my own Socials?"
I'm staring at my charger like it's oxygen that i have to survive on to breathe.

My phone is basically glued to my hand 24/7,every now and then.
Wake up: scroll.
Bathroom: scroll.
Eating: scroll.
Bored for 5 seconds: scroll.
Phone dies: anxiety.
I tried to imagine a world where phones don't exist.......
Like sci-fi movie style. Everyone just... talks? Reads books? Stares at clouds?
It got me thinking. What will I do with my freeee time? Talk to people? Touch grass? π
We're not in the future. The future is here and it's in our palms.
And we're so dependent that if internet goes down for 1 hour, the whole world feels like apocalypse.
Maybe in 100 years they'll dig up our bones and find phones still stuck to our hands....
So..... how long can YOU last?
Me? 0 hours. Unless NEPA takes light and my powerbank is dead π
Be honest in comments. No judging πNo shame zoneπππ.
