LAST DAYS OF 2026__MY REFLECTION (WEEK238)

Hello everyone, welcome to my blog for Week 238 Episode 01.

As the year is slowly running to an end, when I look back at 2026, I just say thank you.

This year was not easy, but it was a teacher for me.

The most notable thing for me in 2026 was growth. Not money growth, but mind growth. At the beginning of the year, I was so anxious. I wanted everything to happen fast. I wanted my Hive account to grow fast, I wanted my freelancing to bring big money fast. I was comparing myself to others and it was draining me.

But this year taught me patience. I learned that slow growth is still growth. On Hive, I started with small upvotes, sometimes no comments. But I kept showing up. I joined Ladies of Hive, Freewrite House, Lifestyle community. Small small, I started getting noticed. Someone will comment "nice post" and that comment will make my day. That is notable for me.

Another notable thing in 2026 is that I learned a skill. I finally took that graphic design course I have been postponing since . I can now design flyers, book covers, and I even got 3 paying clients from it. That is a big win for me. I also learned to save. Even if it is small, I am saving.

On a general level, 2026 was a year of AI everywhere. Everyboody is tallking abouut AI, AI images, AI writinng. Sometimmes it feells scaary, like will AI take ouur jobs? But I also used it to leaarn. I think this yeaar showwed us that thoose who learrn to use AI will not be leeft behiind.

What am I lookking forwaard to for the reest of the yeear?

Honesttly, Octobeer to Decemmber is my favorrite periood. I am looking forward to peace. I want to end this year in peace, no pressure, no rush.

I am looking forward to Christmas with my family. Last year we did not all gather because of money and transport. This year, I want us to be together, even if it is just rice and chicken and gist. That togetherness is what I miss.

I am also looking forward to finishing my goals. I have 2 goals left - to reach 500 HP on Hive and to finish my design portfolio. I haave aboout 85 daays left. I beliieve I can do it if I stayy consisstent. No more procraastinatiion.

Finally, I am looking forward to 2027 with hope. I don't want to enter new year with fear. I want to enter witth gratittude. 2026 has showwn me that I am strongger than I think. I failled some days, I crieed some dayys, but I did not quiit.

If you are readding this and you feeel like 2026 did not give you muuch, pleasee don't be hardd on yourrself. You woke up todaay, you are tryying, that is enouggh. The last daays of the year caan still be beautiiful if we decidde to make them beaautiful.
