Never mess with what could be a coral snake. I've lived in desert locations that had coral snakes, they liked hiding under rocks so they were really almost never seen. Rattlesnakes on the other hand there were many that you could come across!
My recommendation for snakes is never mess with them, they might be venomous. Smart move calling the professionals to remove that one!

Dread helped make the right decision. I never deal with snakes, I always call someone better prepared. We have some biologists around and eventually they deal with the situation. When they are not available, we call the firefighters!!
