Getting hurt isnt fun sometimes the individual tries to hide the hurt they are feeling and live like they have over come it. But with time at the moment they least expect something draws them back and they have an emotional breakdown or a nervous breakdown.
Talking about a trauma can heal the individual but most times talking alone doesn't do the work they have to face the person that caused that trauma in order to be able to overcome it emotionally.
Not all trauma's can be inflicted on another person directly but it does take a toll on family members that are trying to help that individual get through that hurt.
Aggression is passed unknowingly to those that are there to just love and care for their loved one.

There are several cases of trauma that aren't talked about in this part of our world. And that's eating deep into the society a case where father's rape their daughters and the mother keeps them quiet not to say a word of it outside that's a scar for life on the girl child. As her sexual life will be forever scared not wanting anyone to touch her that way because it will bring the memories of what she had to go through with her father.
It will take a loving man to understand that kind of woman and help her heal.
What of cases where boys are raped by family members as well they don't fully recover from the trauma. Such traumatic experiences aren't easily over come it's taken a lot of love to heal such people.

Some are abused by beating there's really no form of trauma that is justified by anything. And they leave long time scar's on the individual
Now to the question of the topic
“If someone gets hurt and then, in the near future, the same person hurts someone else as a direct result of the initial pain inflicted upon them, can they be held accountable for it? "
My answer here is no they can't be held accountable for this wrong doing. The people that will say otherwise haven't be hurt .
It will take only the holy spirit to help one truly heal from a scar that has marked their lives. It may not really be revenge but just so that they get a taste of what they dished out .
In other words this is called karma.
It's sad how some person's can let demons overtake them to perform such evil, I've heard of a case father molesting his child in the absence of their mum. The case was taken to the police and he still went away with it because of corrupt practices in the police. I pray we don't fall victim of such evil..
