SMARTPHONE AGE!! IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT?

How the week goes by and we are in another week today with another interesting topic smartphone age.
Let me appreciate the administrative team for the topic thanks for dropping this. Now really is there an age limit to using a smartphone or having a social media account now?

My take on this, is times are Changing and things aren't how the use to be anymore.
Before now we see parents not allowing their children have access to the internet or smart phones until they are matured or passed a certain class.

But present times, this isn't so as we see parents getting their children even from a tender age smartphone or tablets.

I had once asked a family friend why she got her child a smartphone at 6 years she replied me so I can communicate with her via WhatsApp and the school system has changed as well they do most assignment online and oh the have classes online as well. But she mentioned to me that she's the one that gives her access to the internet she's not allowed to some sites unless she gives her those access. The world as we know it has changed now YouTube is the new TV that's where you see most children watching online or watching from. I have heard a mom say her 5 year old said she wants to grow up and be a YouTuber that's all she wants to do. What do you expect from a child that has had access to such from 2 or 3years of age.

Generally speaking my opinion on this topic is, its few parents that still "stick to finish secondary school then get a smartphone", very few let's say 2% of the world population. While the other 98% want to be able to communicate or show how much they love their children by gifting them with smart gadgets. I really don't think there is an age limit as to when a child uses a smartphone now because now some schools have introduced online classes into their curriculum.

That's also a great approach, finishing secondary school before smartphone is great but it might not be feasible
