Hope we are all good today enjoying the week with lots of expectations, as every new day comes with challenges, hope and expectations. And with reading books, we can all agree to have gathered many experiences from the different books 📚 we have come across.
For this edition question : How often do you read physical books? When was the last time you read such a book? What was the book all about? And when next do you think you will pick up a book to read?
Lovely questions that made and brought back memories of amazing books I have read in the past. It also made me remember how good it is to read books which mostly helps develop our thinking 💭 and reasonings.
Right from my childhood I love reading books, so its one hobby I have maintained into adulthood. Although from reading physical books after my college days, I started reading soft copies of books online since it became easier for me especially with novels about love ❤️ stories. Haha 😂. But this did not stop me from reading physical books due to how I visit book stores once in a while to purchase books for my children school list. This gives me the opportunity to check for something new on the book store shelves for reading.
Few months ago I decided to take out this one book 📕 that has been a hail of a difficult book to read from the book shelve in the house to see if I can get to find a way to digesting what this book is all about “SCARECROW” BY MATTHEW REILLY. An old book many of you would have come across and read. In fact my younger daughter has read and re-read this book more than 5 times. How thrilling it is she keeps telling me. So I decided to see it for myself. This book and its stories revolves around “bounty hunting” Not my kind of book anyway, because it appears so hard to crack but I needed to know what is up in it.
In summary, this book is all about “The Richest men in the world 🌎 called Majesty Twelve (12), who put out a bounty hunt for the bounty hunters to find and kill some of the best agents in the world so that no one will be able to disrupt their plans to create a global war -fair. Its a book 📕 that is centered on capturing and killing, involving many countries where the bounty hunters has to fish out by all means who is an agent and who is to be eliminated. A thriller of a kind and one book that MATTHEW REILLY made sure he delivered totally 💯.
.# ANOTHER BOOK:
And just two weeks ago I picked out another book 📕 off the shelve. This time it was not a thriller, but a book By NORMAN VINCENT PEALE - “ THE POWER OF POSITIVE LIVING”. This book is one that is centered on how we must wake up everyday with thoughts 💭 of positivities. How we must not let our emotions have control over us, but that we as humans with the highest thinking 💭mindset should see reasons to know how to stay focused so we don’t allow our environment decide for us. Norman VINCENT PEALE - in this book 📕 took humans characteristics behavior to a level where we should see opportunities in little things that can help change and turn our lives around. This means that little opportunity we see in live can lead us to that big dreams we have always dreamed without seeing a way to achieving them.
I am currently still reading this book since I only read it on weekends because of work. And I am truly not in a hurry to finish it up because its a book I will want to take my time reading. Its so motivating and well aligned with the current situations we have around us as humans who see different things everyday, and around in the world 🌍 today.
Honestly speaking, we need to keep reading books because many of this books helps bring us through to the lights that we need to see hidden opportunities.
