Change they say is the only thing constant, but its also a thing that has been noticed with challenges. I can say these two are inevitable in the journey of life because they are what determines how we succeed in life.

And back to the topic of this edition, on what we will do for our children in the cause of journey of life, should we remove obstacles for them or leave them to face it? A question that is a two sides coin 🪙 I will say because all fingers are not equal when it comes to making everything available for our children as life is so challenging. How and why?

Am not going to bring religion into this as not to sound religious but an old bible quote said “Bring up a child In the way he should grow, and when he grows, he will not depart from it. And he here represents also the girl child just as man in the Bible represents both man and women.

Every parents will want to do the best for their wards if we have the capacity because our children are like our future hope while hoping on God as we grow older, so I as a parent will want to do my best for my children to make them not suffer in the future by making sure all is provided for them to live a good life, but change and challenges are the two things that are not in my power.

Our motives, objectives and aims in life as parents is to give our children the best and help them in any way we could by giving them good education that will help them pursue their careers, provide them a permanent home if I have the means and every other thing that will benefit them for a good future life, but obstacles, misfortune, challenges, change are all the the unforeseen circumstances that we can not bridge because these are challenges of life that must surface.

We need to let our children know that life is not a bed of roses 🌹, make them understand that obstacles are real, challenges must surface and change continually constant.

Struggles in life is constant and a thing everyone will go through, as parents we are the stepping pillars for our children. I will give my best to my children, especially the love ❤️ they need, paving ways for them but at the same time allowing them to know how difficult life can get because of change , challenges, circumstances and unforeseen. By dong this, we are allowing them to know that they have to also work hard to get to where they want to get to, especially when we are not with them again.

“Train up a child the way he should grow, and when he is grown, he will not depart from it”.
