RE: The Storm, The Jammed Window, and the Night I Stopped Waiting for Help

As they say: one learns from life knocks and not from eating almonds (fluent one, insaan thokron se sikhta h badamon se nahin). The problem was neither the storm, nor the jammed window; it was the meantal ability, of inexpeirence, holding you back from doing it. The moment you pushed past that mental barrier, thoug most of the time it happens post-completion, fixing the window became a usual activity. It became proof that you were more capable than you had believed.

Moreover, protecting children in such manners is pure love, without any doubt. However, whether one like it or not, this world is curel and beautiful, but the cruelty part comes first. It is not the shield that will protect them; they also need a sword to fight back. So better let the kids be prepared.

Btw, on personal grounds, calesthenic is something 99% people can only dream of or watch on reels. Keep it up!

Have you ever experienced a small, everyday struggle that completely shifted your perspective or made you realize your own potential?

Ironing my clothes, lol! My parents would never let me do so. They were right about it, because whenever I tried, I just left the dress in black. However, once I was in university, I had to do it myself. Though, initial tries resulted in the same: darkness. Now, I am quite fluent with it.

Ironing is a girlish trait in Pakistani culture so it was my pro side I guess.....

Aam Jahe Munda by Permish Verma. I used to listen to this song on daily basis. It was the start of my university life, so yeah, the nostalgia is real.

I am already so so done with this "Pakistani Culture", I hate it the most. Like it is not the real way to live through. Moreover, it is not even alligned with the religion. We are just following everything like a herd, taught to us by the society. Norms this, norms that, duck your norms :)

Btw, you are so good with cooking. You have explained everything in detail, and it even looks delicious. Cooking is something I am afraid to do, once again because of my clumsy nature. But yeah, I can cook a karahi but it will not be a good one. LOL!
