Cash Reward For Academic Performance May Promote Dubious Activities.

The first inheritance a child gets from his parents is education and this isn’t only about societal education or something but academics and the happiness of a parent is that a child should perform well academically. Due to the fact that parents want their kids to perform well, they tend to promise them one thing or the other just to make sure that the child comes first in class or be one of the top position holders.

This is why we see that some parents promise to get their children what they love most so that it will be or serve as a motivation for that child to do very well in class. Some children are so lucky and hard-working to meet up to their parents expectations while some don’t get to meet up. We also get to see some pupils or students say that they want to receive prizes on the prize given day because there is a kind of joy you feel when you are called up om stage to receive your prize.

Should there be cash reward for academic brilliance?

I don’t like to sit on the fence, but at the same time this depends on who the child is. Cash reward for academic brilliance is very good and serves as a way of motivating a child to do very well in class but some children tend to read very well just because they want to pass their exams and top in class, but not because they want to assimilate what they have been thought in a way that it could be useful in them in future.

If they only study hard because they want to be rewarded financially, they will forget all theyve theyve been taught. At the same time, this does not apply to everyone. Above all, if cash reward is a way to make sure that kids buckle up their shoes in class, then ehy not? It’s a good way.

Will it be a good thing in the long run?

Honestly, it is not going to be a good thing. I feel this is when students will come up with some dubious activities just to make sure that they come up in class and I am not talking about them studying hard to come top but they may begin to bribe some teachers just to make sure that they pass their examinations and they come top in class.

Something like this also has a way of encouraging examination malpractice. Pupils who always want to come top in class and also know that they are not very good academically will always find a way to make sure that they pass their examinations and while thinking about some of the best ways to help them pass, they may think about examination malpractice.

So it’s better not to even start it but if anyone feels like there is a way to do something like this and dubious activities will be prevented, such a person can bring it on.
