Prior Knowledge Could Cause Great Change.

Social education is a great thing to consider in a world that's growing and thriving more through the social or let's say digital world; lots of fields and sectors are moving into the social world, every business and brand moving into the social space to be seen and known. It influence alone is so much that you'd feel almost left out if you're not a part of its trends. You could be anywhere from your home, get things at the comfort of your room.

Social media is literally a world on it own, people live, have a name, are known for certain things, make money, learn and connect. It has so many merits depending on what it's used for. Social media as a course would be a great idea for secondary school students, the students gets to know what and what not social media is: they have prior knowledge and understanding of what it is,what it can be used for and reasons why it should be used. Another evolution of social media began during and after Covid, people saw how it brought a change to the whole world, the access and possibilities made available. Barely quarter of the world population knew you could easily advertise, sell or order for things online with swift and easy processes. How you could work from home and still get paid, some people even made more money during the lock down because they were able to utilize the digital space.

I strongly believe that my country would have been a lot better if the youth had certain knowledge of what social media is for when it became popular, the vast merits and how to maximize its several fields based on individual's interest. If it should become a course or subject in our secondary school then students will have an understanding of how vast social media is, with well trained teachers, students will be able to appreciate and embrace the advantages of the social world: know that there are better ways to gain recognition without having to be rude and indulging in moral demeaning acts, better ways to make a living without having to steal from others, better ways to build a business or brand, show your services and offers to the world online organically without revealing body parts, dancing to silly music.

With education on social media, students could anticipate learning new thigs online, learn and explore YouTube for beginners videos on various fields and topics. Students can get exposed to new things in several fields of tech, business, music, art, entertainments, sports. There is a greater exposure online, you get to know more. If teachers are skilled enough they could be able to guide students who are interested in careers that thrive more online like social media manager, virtual assistant, graphics designer, video editors, photography, videography, tech field,contents creators, cryptocurrency field, health, education, music, the list is so long.

I believe with the right guidance and teachings, social media could be a better place than it is presently, with more sane people , sane ideas, point of view, opinions and all that. Where there will be lesser comparison, negative challenges, better entertainment videos without any touch of 18+ contents. With course on social media, more teens will be exposed to the social world and all there is in it but I believe the right guidance from qualified teachers would reduce the number teens and youths and maybe adults that go for the other side of the digital space.
