Children should be allowed to make their mistakes while parents should be there to guide them. The issue is that it is not like children don't want to share their space with their parents but it's because parents have over dominated their space and they feel too confined and restrained.

That's true. The dominance of parents sometimes can be a reason for not sharing things, but even if there were no dominance, children don't or can't share everything with parents.
