The single exam formate may fail to identify the truly capable candidate, so the more varied the questions are, and the more dimensions of knowledge, reasoning, and problem-solving an exam explore, the more accurately it can identify those who deserve to succeed.

That's true. to find the capable candidate we need to go through several stages as it's can't be judged by a single exam.
