You Have to Be Different If You Want to Make a Difference! .:. July 1st HivePUD

I remember the time when I was a teenager and having a kid who is at that age at this moment, I can easily draw some parallels between now and then... Yes, the fashion is different now than it was (but, tbh. not that much as the retro look is coming back), and hairstyles are also different, but many other things are the same... I think that the attitude of a teenager is the same now, before, and ever... lol...

There is a certain discrepancy between what a teenager wants to be, and what it is... But, I suppose, it's not just like that for them, but for people in general... What do I mean by that? Well, they want to be different, they want to be unique... Like in the animal world, when animals are searching to mate...

On the other side, teenagers (and not just them), don't want to be "too far from the trends"... If everyone is wearing those long socks and slippers, then our "unique teenager" wants to do the same... Because, if he/she doesn't do it, **THAT'S NOT COOL", and they will drop in the list of "coolness"... 😃 You see the issue? They want to be unique, but by "following the herd" they are the same as everyone else...

The black sheep (in the thumbnail image) doesn't give a f%ck where the rest of the herd is looking... It is focused... Be that sheep... 😂

The same thing happens in our crypto world... You have some "cool token", like PEPE, or DOGE, and everyone rushed to get part of them just to not "stay behind"... And everyone buys it... And you know the drill... If everyone is doing it, you are probably late to the party...

That's where our today's topic comes into place... You have to be DIFFERENT, you have to do things differently than others... You have to be among the FIRST who bought PEPE, when it wasn't COOL, when it sucked, when it was worthless... If you did it like that, you can make a DIFFERENCE! If not, you are just another sheep in the herd that bought the token at the top, from "guys who made the difference"...

It sucks to buy HIVE when the price is low and everyone is scared that it will go to zero... It's much cooler to buy HBD, stay "safe in USD", and collect those 20% APR... But, YOU KNOW which one of those two ways will make a difference...

Back to the most important thing today! Time to power up some HIVE!

I'm grateful that I was able to do another 1K Hive Power-up! Most of the tokens came from the 2nd layer investments on Hive-Engine tokens... I was in the right place for two games that were launched on HIVE, and they gave me a nice profit that I invested back in Hive Power... Also, liquidity pools where I am invested are doing fine... I didn't count the number of my posts in the last month, but it was around my average... Also, I used the low price of HIVE to exchange some of my HBD author's rewards back into HIVE! It sucks to see HIVE under 50 cents, but it's a great opportunity to accumulate... (not financial advice 🙂)...

Also, I was able to power up some every day in June and I got another #HivePUM badge! That's 6th badge in a row, which means that I have powered up at least 1 HIVE every single day THIS YEAR! I failed to do that a couple of times last year, and I'm super proud of being more consistent this year!

To get this badge, you should power up at least 1 HIVE every day of the month or create a post every day with rewards set to 100% HP...
