Making the world a better place for the vast majority will require lots and lots of effort put in by everyone. Like you said, even the small things would go a long way. One of the reasons our economy is still in dire is because our leaders are greedy and corrupt and the people who have the power to correct things or change our situation aren't also motivated to do so because they'll feel it's not worth it.

Exactly. Changing the world and making it a better place is a grand thing to venture into. It can't be done by just one person. Instead, we have to each do something worthwhile whenever we see an opportunity to do so.
Little things matters too whenever we are working towards making this world a better place.
Yes, we are all responsible for it and every little thing counts too. Just as little drops of water make a mighty ocean
