There are lots of innovations in this beautiful planet we live in. Ranging from cars, phones, robots, the list knows no end as it stretches far and wide like an Imo state lady's bride price. LOl. just joking. But then, the list is long.
When contextualizing human innovations, i can't help it but think about the creator of copy - cut - paste command in a computer. That person saved not only software programmers, but also the world at large from the the stress of retyping stuffs.
Robots are gradually becoming part of the society. Who knows? maybe in the nearest future, we will peacefully coexists with robots that probably have their own consciousness.
A few months ago, I saw a video of a company that innovated a horse-like robot. I think the aim was to replace the traditional horse or something, but then, I was amazed. The product was really cool and it an addition to the fact that we can create anything. Also, I saw in a video that Microsoft created a new state of matter which was used to create the chip for quantum computers. The bragged that one of those chip could power the entire world. Welp, i dont know about that though.
Getting all these robots and computers to make the work easier and faster for us is really nice and amazing, but the big question here is; can we really control these things? What are the odds that these robots will not develop a mind of their own and probably stage a war against humans? I've seen presentations where AI did things that were not in their programme and it made me somewhat scared.
Robots are very helpful in many ways. I even used Chatgpt to learn the basics of coding and forex trading, but the truth is, if there is a robot that could do all my house chores for me while i lazy around or attend to other things, I would not purchase that robot.
No cap, i love robots. They are amazing innovations, but I can't actually feel comfortable with a robot around.
I'm not the type to allow somebody or something do things for me. I can allow collegues at work, but not when it comes to house chores or something related. i would prefer for a human, my wife (when i get married) to do my stuffs for me. Even when i was dating, I didn't allow my girlfriend to do any house chores for me, not even sweep my room. I dont actually know why i'm like that, but its just me.
Based on this, I would never buy a robot to do any house chores for me. I could buy a dish washer, micro wave, kettle, a fridge and other electrical appliance to make the work easier, but i will not want to be dependent on a robot to the extent of not having what to do.
This is my entry for hive learners prompt.

Decentralization isn’t just a feature—it’s a fight. Let’s model fairness, rally allies, and pressure Hive to live up to its ideals.

You are saying you won't accept a robot that would be washing plates and cleaning the house; you would allow your wife to do all that when a robot would run it easily. Sometimes women need assistance when it comes to these things, and why do you think some houses employ house help "to assist the wives right"?
Women are very hardworking and honestly, i do appreciate their works from afar. They bring a lot to the table. They are worth more than they receive. But, I would not accept the robot, instead, i rather help in the kitchen and do other chores until our kids grow to the age of helping her in the kitchen and doing other chores
Judy curious, did you recently ask for an Imo lady's hand in marriage😂
I respect your opinion but for me, I'm giving it all up to the robots if I'm opportune to, this is from an exhausted mum😩
lol.. I'm actually from imo state.
A big shout out to you, for being a strong and awesome mom to your kids. Its not easy.
Of a truth, robots can make life easier, but it's also good to do certain things ourself, we should use it as a means of it helping us and not replacing us.
Thanks for sharing.
🥰🤗🥰
True... It will be better for it to help us, instead of replace us
Yea....
🙇🙇🙇
This was such an interesting and honest take! I agree, robots are amazing, but it’s also true that they bring up big questions about control and dependence. I respect your point of wanting to stay hands-on with chores—it shows responsibility and personal discipline. But I also get where others are coming from, especially those who are tired or juggling a lot. Maybe the key is balance: letting robots help a little without giving up everything. Anyway, thanks for sharing your view—it really got me thinking! 👏🤖✨
Now that you said it, i think its actually better like this.

When Robert is done with all the work, he will also start doing the kitchen chores because once we put the software inside him, he will work exactly the same way.
