Knowledge In Memory
I was reading an entry from @michupa and i read when he talked about his friend in Germany that told him a local saying: "Wissen ist Erinnerung" (“Knowledge is memory”). This saying is actually factual and i concur with that saying 100%. I have seen many quotes about knowledge being power, but one thing i understand is that the ability to know and remember is more powerful than gaining any knowledge in the world. Moreover, what is the use of the knowledge if you will not remember it?
If i'm not good at anything, one major thing i am good at is having the time and patience to learn new things. Though it is very difficult to unlearn something and relearn some things, my curiosity for knew ways to do things always pushes me to learn more and it keeps me ahead.
This post is not for the purpose of reviewing another persons post. lol.. I saw something i loved and decided to share it in my own post. This post is an entry for hive learners prompt, "FOR YOUR MEMORY." I will answer the question of if i would like for a foreign object to be placed in my brain for this purpose of enhanced memory. I would also share a story about sometime i forgot something and it caused me a huge deal. So, here goes...
One thing about being able to multi task is that you would not be able to properly focus on a given task which may bring about poor remembrance. I love multitasking, but sometimes, I just pause so that i can remember what i was about to do. Sometimes, I would enter a room to get something and my brain will just reset. I would forget what i went to get. Lol... I've heard a few accounts of similar cases with other people but then, the truth is that its quite frustrating ya'know.
My memory sucks soo bad. Most times, after a quarrel with somebody, say me and somebody were in a heated argument, I do forget what started the argument in the first place. Some times, i would have to chill, collect me memories and then calmly settle the problems (by then, i would have calmed down when i was trying to collect my memories. lol). Though the bad memories always happen when I'm extremely stressed or trying to multi task.
Nonetheless, one thing i would never forget in my entire life is the person that owes me money. lol... I would love for something to help with my memory but then, the thought of having a foreign object implanted in my brain scares me a lot. I would hardly concur to such procedures.
I'm not the type that likes to have foreign objects in their body. Even, having a cannula in my arms can be really frustrating for me. Instead of having a chip in my brain, i prefer to just exist even with poor memory. I want this not because i don't want to remember good or bad memories, but i want this because I can't stand the fact that I will live with a foreign object for the rest of my life.

Hahaha, it is well. Seems this ability to forget things is resident in everyone. Sometimes if I go into my room to get something, I have to sit and relax for sometime before I remember, LOL.
I don't also buy the idea of introducing anything foreign into the body except in the case of health challenge
I think it is.. Its aa natural thing with us that comes, most times, with age.
Sometimes when you seat down to think of what you went inside to collect, you will see another thing that will take your mind away from that thing you're thinking of. Like that, you will start doing something else. lol...

Nothing beats our natural creation. No matter how worse having a replacement or substitute will not remain the same. The aspect of not forgetting money cracked me up.

Lol 🤣. I don't think anyone would ever forget who they borrowed money except the person is suffering from dementia.
I don't think inserting a foreign body in the brain to aid is ideal, it can never be like the original brain no matter what. The only reason I would encourage that is when it is really needed medically
lol.. True sha. But there are people that do forget oo.. Me i'm the type that will not allow you cross main road anyhow until you pay me back my money. Let a car not hit you. After you pay me, then you can do whatever you want. lol...
Me neither, i don't really think its good to insert foreign object in the body just to remember something. In case of any medical procedure, it will be okay to apply foreign objects temporarily to aid natural healing process.

Memory can be also a competitor of logic thinking... if we memorize everything for example all the possible results of mathematical equations. We will know without thinking and process problems. We will just store all the knowledge read hehe
This makes a lot of sense. It will be easier to remember without even thinking of it when we memorize something.
