It was really a big risk indeed, but I'll say it's not a well calculated risk, if as if you did a calculated risk, you wouldn't have invested that much, but all the same, the did has been done already and like you said, you've learnt your lesson. Just don't let your greed be too much next time, so you won't repeat the same mistakes. No matter how sure any investments is, don't ever go in 100%, that's what I called taking a calculated risk.
