Hello
Hive Learnesr !
These days, most people watch reality TV shows. They are the most popular form of entertainment right now. People love to be entertained. Children and adults alike watch these shows. In some families, these shows have become such a habit that some members won't even eat without watching them, which is a bad habit. This can sometimes have a negative impact on children. Reality TV shows are great for entertainment and can make you feel good, but some reality TV shows present content that has a negative influence.

I've noticed that many TV shows, especially those depicting luxurious lifestyles, are mostly filled with fighting and drama, which seems to be the current trend. Everything we see in these shows is staged and artificial.
The problem is that when children watch these shows, they often perceive them as reality. They mistake reality TV shows for true stories. They think they can become like the people they see on screen, but they don't realize it's not real; it's all scripted. They start to embrace this superficial world, distancing themselves from hard work and reality. This could potentially have a negative impact on their mental well-being in the long run.
Should reality TV shows be banned?
We can't just say that we should shut down all TV shows. But we should shut down those TV shows that aren't being run properly, meaning those that are creating content that has a negative impact on children's minds. Look, we all watch TV shows, and we enjoy them, but some TV shows aren't suitable for our children. Nowadays, children learn things very quickly or internalize ideas easily. If they are watching TV shows that depict someone suddenly becoming rich or magically teleporting from one place to another, it's not good for them. It sends the wrong message, and children learn these things. Therefore, if a show is not appropriate for children's age group, it should be shut down. That would be the right thing to do. Children should be shown shows that are realistic, shows from which they can learn something that will help in their mental development.
Conclusion
I would say that everyone should do things according to their own judgment. But I would also say that we should examine ourselves to see if we are doing anything wrong. In this way, we can teach our children what is right and what is wrong for them. Our children learn from us; they will learn whatever we teach them. If you sit with your mobile phone all day, your children will also sit with their mobile phones. Whenever you watch a TV show, make sure it is appropriate for your children. If it's not, keep your children away from that TV show. Nowadays, dramas often show fights and things that are unrealistic. Children's minds get engrossed in those TV shows, which hinders their mental development. Therefore, we should be mindful of what is right and wrong for our children. Your children will learn in the way you teach them.
