Hello
Hive Learnesr !

If I were to describe the importance of a teacher in my own words, I would say that they are the only person, after your parents, who truly cares about your well-being. A teacher wants their student to study well, progress in their studies, and achieve a good position in life. But the question is, should a teacher's role be limited only to the school? Would it be right if some teachers also guided their students outside of school, offering advice on what is right and wrong? I am very happy to say today that this happened to me as well, and my teacher taught me so much, which is why I have been able to learn so much in my life.
Teacher Role Inside the Classroom
A teacher can impart all kinds of knowledge to their students within the school. They can teach them the difference between right and wrong. If a student is doing something that could lead to significant difficulties in the future, the teacher can explain to them what is good and bad for them. This is the role of every teacher within the school. The school has complete authority in this matter. If any disputes arise, the teacher receives protection from the school administration.
The teacher role outside of school
A teacher's role is different both inside and outside of school. If a student does something wrong inside the school, the teacher can punish or counsel them. However, if the same student does something wrong outside of school, the teacher cannot punish them. This is because the student is not on school grounds and the school will not protect the teacher if they punish the student outside of school. Outside of school, a teacher can only advise the student they cannot administer punishment. Inside the school, a teacher can try to correct a student's behavior through punishment, but outside of school, they can only offer guidance.
What should the teacher do at this time?
If a teacher punishes students outside of school, the situation could easily escalate. This is because some students don't see teachers as authority figures outside of school and don't show them the same respect. I've seen many such students. In these situations, things can quickly get out of hand. Therefore, teachers should only try to reason with the students. If the students don't listen, their parents should be called in and informed about their child's misbehavior. It's crucial to avoid any kind of disciplinary action outside of school grounds. The school will not support the teacher in such cases because they are not responsible for incidents that occur outside of school property.
Conclusion
I would say that a teacher makes us a better person by teaching us. They teach us discipline and explain the importance of respecting others. However, they can only do this within the school premises. If you do something wrong outside of school, they can't take any action. A teacher's legal authority is limited to the classroom. Outside of school, they can only try to reason with the student or inform the parents. But I have always given all my teachers, both inside and outside of school, the respect they deserve because I have learned so much from them.

True.. the school can not protect the teacher if they punish a student outside the school, so, the teachers role are limited only in the school
