That OAU saga was off the hook. I think that rather than keeping a zoo, animals should be separated in the wild where they live according to their habitat than been kept in a zoo.
Keeping a zoo is not outrightly bad as it gives a forehand facility for research and makes conservation possible as many animals are now going into extinction.
When animals are held against their wish, I can bet you that their mental and emotional life can never be like when they are free.

Human actions are the only reason animals are going extinct. They create a problem and pretend to come up with a solution that actually worsen the situation most times.
