When time is finally yours [ENPT]
I believe that most people work to achieve a better life, to have a higher quality of life, to go to nice places, to own a nice house, all of these things related to our needs and desires. We think about retiring one day, of course, and for some, retiring early would really be a dream come true, just to be able to live. So, in a hypothetical situation, imagine that you receive a lifetime pension and retire. You would never have to work again. What would you do?
Well, I don't know what you would do, but if I had a monthly pension sufficient to live well, I would start by traveling to some places. Retiring instantly doesn't mean I've become rich, but rather that I don't have to worry about work, at least for now. I'll talk about that later. I would start by visiting places and take advantage of my time and youth to create adventures, stories, and memories in destinations I never got to visit due to lack of time. Yes, just because of lack of time, because there are many places nearby, easily accessible, that I could visit, but I don't because there is always work waiting for me on Monday. Doing everything in a single weekend ends up taking away the little time we have to rest.
I would start like this, visiting nearby cities, and if this pension were generous, I might venture to more distant places. Everything would depend on that monthly amount, on that hypothetical dream. But the big issue is that at some point, just traveling would become tiring and I would need to fill my time. Even retired people need to create a routine, and I would do that in the best way possible, using less frequent trips as special moments to break out of it. A routine needs to exist. It's healthy to have a routine, and having a routine with all the time in the world would be incredible for me. I would start my day by exercising, going to the gym, walking, or running. I would be able to focus better on eating well, and having time to prepare meals would be great, because I like to cook.
Also, with so much time available, I would focus on learning new things. Maybe a new language, maybe a martial art, and I would try to use that time to improve at something or try something totally new, like dancing. I think I would set aside part of my day for learning, maybe a good part of it, because learning is one of the best things anyone can do for themselves. Even so, even if I were retired, I would plan a project. I would work on something, because yes, work is important, even for those who no longer need to work.
I believe that work can be divided into two types. The first, and worst of them, is working at something you don't like, but do out of necessity. For example, I worked for a while as an administrative assistant at a real estate agency, and that was never a dream come true, nor a professional goal achieved. I only worked there because it guaranteed me what I needed every month, and that was it. But there is the other side, that job or profession you aspire to, that you dream of. Some people dream of being police officers, others doctors, and so on. Some manage to combine necessity with pleasure, others continue as administrative assistants. So, having time, I could devote myself to something I really wanted to do, create my own projects.
Why would someone who doesn't need to work look for work? Because it's part of our nature. When we don't have a goal, life loses its meaning, and there's nothing worse than that. Imagine now that you have all the time in the world and financial resources, but you have lost your purpose. Even if your greatest pleasure is traveling, doing it all the time loses its charm, even when money is not a problem either. So I would pursue my hobbies that I had put aside due to lack of time, try to create a project that could help other people, or participate in initiatives with the same goal.
Well, I would do what I've always wanted to do. I would take better care of myself, try to evolve intellectually by seeking knowledge, and devote my efforts to goals that bring me joy. I would still work on projects that could improve other people's lives as well. And honestly, if I could accomplish all of that, I would be a fulfilled and very happy person.

É saudável ter uma rotina, e ter uma rotina com todo o tempo do mundo seria algo, para mim, incrível. Eu começaria meu dia me exercitando, indo para a academia, fazendo uma caminhada ou corrida. Conseguiria focar melhor em uma boa alimentação e ter tempo para prepará la seria algo muito bom, pois eu gosto de cozinhar.
Ainda, com tanto tempo disponível, eu focaria em aprender coisas novas. Ainda assim, mesmo aposentado, eu planejaria um projeto. Eu trabalharia em algo, porque sim, o trabalho é importante, mesmo para quem não precisa mais trabalhar.
Acredito que o trabalho pode ser dividido em duas formas. A primeira, e a pior delas, é trabalhar em algo que você não gosta, mas faz por necessidade. Por exemplo, eu já trabalhei por um tempo como auxiliar administrativo em uma imobiliária, e aquilo nunca foi um sonho realizado, nem um desejo profissional alcançado. Eu apenas trabalhei ali porque era o que me garantia o necessário todo mês, e apenas isso. Mas existe a outra parte, aquele trabalho ou profissão que você almeja, que você sonha. Tem gente que sonha em ser policial, outros médicos, e assim por diante. Alguns conseguem unir a necessidade ao prazer, outros continuam como auxiliares administrativos. Então, tendo tempo, eu poderia me dedicar a algo que realmente gostaria de fazer, criar meus próprios projetos.
Por que alguém que não precisa trabalhar procuraria trabalho? Porque isso faz parte da nossa natureza. Quando não temos um objetivo, a vida perde o sentido, e não existe nada pior do que isso. Imagine agora que você possui todo o tempo do mundo e recursos financeiros, mas perdeu o propósito. Mesmo que seu maior prazer seja viajar, fazer isso o tempo todo perde a graça, mesmo quando o dinheiro também não é um problema. If you didn't know I've been getting downvoted for a long time on Hive
They have been trying to bully me with downvotes and words but it doesn't affect me I've been online for over 25 years
So I've dealt with people like this before it's nothing new

So I've dealt with people like this before it's nothing new
But what they are doing is bad Very badi joined steemit like everyone else thinking it offers freedom but I must say steemit offered much more freedom than Hive does
